Sorting, Washing, Picking
*Based on incoming weight. We reserve the right to refuse any fiber for any reason. Reasons may include but are not limited to: excessive vegetable matter, bugs, mites, moths, or unprocessable staple length. We will contact you for how you would like to pay for disposal or return of the fiber.
Sorting, Washing and Picking
This includes 15 minutes of hand sorting/skirting. We do remove vegetable matter, second cuts, and guard hair as necessary prior to washing.
Hand sorting/skirting
Extensive hand sorting, skirting, picking, cutting, or cleaning. Save some money and do this before you send it!
Additional Wash
Carding, Spinning, Plying & Skeining to yarn
Fiber separator is an additional $20 a batch.
Carding to Roving or Batts
Based on incoming weight\.
Price includes sorting, washing, and picking.
Cored Yarn
Based on incoming weight.
Price includes sorting, washing, and picking.
Fingering, Sport, DK, Worsted, Bulky, & Lopi Weights available.
Based on incoming weight.
Price includes sorting, washing, and picking. 2, 3, & 4 ply available (4 ply +$4.00/lb)
May be skeined or coned. Cones $1.50 each.

Our default yarn process is 2 ply sport weight, 200 yd skeins unless otherwise specified.

We are here typically from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm Monday through Friday, we ask that you schedule an appointment to pick up or drop off fiber. The mill is very loud and dangerous, an appointment allows us to have our equipment properly shut down for your arrival.
